Ganoderma Amboinense is a species of Polyporaceae, and Ganoderma belongs to Ganoderma Lucidium , and it is a well known valuable herbs. Modern medical research has long confirmed that it contains all kinds of amino acids, polysaccharide, stearic acid etc. effective constituents that have anti-tumor etc, multiple usage properties. Although since 400B.C. it was recorded that Ganoderma Amboinense was presented to the Emperor as the best of Ganoderma’s, however, its species and healing properties were not recorded. Since then, its known is limited to historical record and legend only, and due to its rareness, few had actually seen it.
And when refer to the Manual of Ganoderma Species, among the 93 species of Ganoderma, Ganoderma Amboinense is not in the list, this suggests that while in its process of growth which is constantly affected by changing environment, only then its peculiar shape took place, and this is the reason why it is so rare to find Ganoderma Amboinense in its natural state. And it is also due to such an environment needed for its growth, naturally its survivor and growth is capped.
Ganoderma Amboinense culturing state
In Japan, since 70s the culturing of Ganoderma began, and during the nylon thin covers culturing process, Ganoderma Amboinense was discovered. Although its appearance ratio is only one in thousand, but it has lead to further research into its history and extreme passion in its cultivation. Currently, in Japan, Taiwan and China there are successful cases in the cultivation of Ganoderma Amboinense, but there are only few large scale cultivations.
